An international call for design and architecture competition for the second phase of the Tower of Milad was held last year, as a result of which 7 architects and domestic and international architecture companies submitted their works, with the jury first selecting seven of the seven works as final works. He chose that out of the seven works, three were selected as first to third.
The design of the second phase of the tower included hotel and office and commercial buildings, with the jury comprising Hashem Hasheminejad, Mahmoud Golabchi, Kambiz Navaei and Mohammad Beheshti after reviewing the submitted works. From China, they were ranked first to third, respectively.
The jury considered all three works to be applicable in the second phase of Milad Tower, and the second phase of the Milad Tower executives are currently negotiating with the first three winners to finally select one of the three works for the second phase of the Milad Tower.
The Department of Khak Architecture, led by Mr. Mehran ghertasi, was proud to have been involved in field studies of the design and computer rendering of the initial drawings and renderings of the project, as well as the animation of the Milad Tower Phase 2 project animation along with Zaha Hadid Architecture.
